The short answer
On October 31, 2026, 3,071 new grad tech roles were open at 1,078 companies on the tracker behind Arial's job board. TikTok had the most, 197, followed by ByteDance (115), RTX (76), Apple (58), Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (46), NVIDIA (39), Amazon (39), and American Express (35). The ten companies with the most roles held 22 percent of them; 694 companies, about two in three, had a single open role. Hiring was still active: 313 new grad roles at 174 companies were added in the week to October 31. Software had the most roles (1,147), then AI, ML, and data (914) and hardware (752). So look beyond the big names: companies with ten or fewer openings held 60 percent of open new grad roles.
"Who is hiring new grads?" is the first question of every full-time search. Here is the answer from the open roles themselves, company by company, as of the end of October 2026.
What we measured
We used the October 31, 2026 file of the SimplifyJobs new grad tracker, the feed behind Arial's job board, and counted every role marked open, leaving out 83 contract AI-training and data-labeling gigs: 3,071 roles at 1,078 companies. A company's count is its open postings, which can include the same role listed in several cities. "Added this week" counts roles the tracker added from October 24 to 31. TikTok and ByteDance are listed separately; together they had 312 open roles, mostly machine learning and data. Defense and hardware employers fill much of the rest of the list. Raydar, a startup, posted all 30 of its roles in the last week, which shows how quickly the list changes. (SimplifyJobs new grad tracker, October 31, 2026 file)
Who is hiring by field
Scroll sideways to see every column
| Field | Open roles | Companies with the most |
|---|---|---|
| Software | 1,147 | TikTok (49), Amazon (27), Palo Alto Networks (27) |
| AI, ML, and data | 914 | TikTok (131), ByteDance (86), Johns Hopkins APL (34) |
| Hardware | 752 | RTX (58), Apple (52), NVIDIA (26) |
| Product | 134 | TikTok (17), LSEG (5), American Express (4) |
| Quant | 124 | Akuna Capital (11), CCLIM (7), Citadel Securities (6) |
Software and AI, ML, and data together are about two thirds of open new grad roles. Product and quant are small markets, where a single firm with a handful of openings leads the list. (SimplifyJobs new grad tracker, October 31, 2026 file)
Most hiring companies have only one or two openings
The ten companies at the top held 22 percent of open roles. 694 of the 1,078 companies, about two in three, had exactly one open new grad role, and only 118 had five or more. Companies with ten or fewer openings held 60 percent of all open roles. That long tail is where an applicant who checks every week has the edge, because one-off roles at smaller companies are easy to miss and close quietly.
